Neuburg Siliceous Earth
Neuburg Siliceous Eart is a raw material full of history - beginning more than 95 million years ago. Over this long period of time, a mineral has developed with unique properties wich does not exist elsewhere in the world.

Classic Neuburg Siliceous Earth is a natural combination of corpuscular, crypto-crystalline and amorphous silica and lamellar kaolinite: a loose mixture impossible to separate by physical methods. As a result of natural aging, the silica portion exhibits a round grain shape and consists of aggregated, crypto-crystalline primary particles of about 200nm diameter wich are coated partially opal-like. Such a unique structure is responsible for a relativity, also in a whole range of application advantages.
-quick incorporation
-no filler agglomeration
-minimal sedimentation
-excellent dispersion
-high surface activity
-excellent extrusion properties
-low compression set in rubber goods
-excellent scratch resistance in plastic, paints and varnishes

Application Fields
Some 100 years ago, Franz Hoffmann obtained the first mining rights for Neuburg Siliceous Earth. To this day, the mineral has served as the natural base for novel products and innovative technologies. The unique morphology of Neuburg Siliceous Earth is characterized by its composition as a natural combination of corpuscular, crypto-crystalline and amorphous silica and lamellar kaolinite.
The Mineral helps to markedly improve the performance properties of rubber goods, paint and coating systems, plastics, polishes and cleaning agents. Other applications include welding electrodes, adhesives, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics.
