# Product of Mai - Diatomaceous Earth



Diatomaceous earth is a natural, soft, lightweight and high porosity siliceous sedimentary rock.

It is used in a wide variety of industries: for example as an effective anti-caking in Fertilizer granules (𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞), as an environmentally friendly filter aid (𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲), as an effective anti-blocking additive in plastic films (𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬), as a matting agent (𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬) or in oil spillage and applications in the 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 industry.
