Kaolin Clays are inert hydrous alumina silicate clays with a low shrink-swell capacity, low cation-exchange capacity, and minimal grit content, making them well-suited to a wide range of industrial uses. They are especially popular for use in fiberglass, ceramics and rubber (as extender fillers and reinforcing fillers) and paints. Air floated Kaolin Clays are avoiding the use of dispersants that can alter performance in some applications.
