Product of September - Basalt Fiber

𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫 is an inorganic mineral obtained from the volcanic basalt rock.
It has excellent physical, mechanical and chemical properties coming from molten basalt.

Despite its light weight and low thermal conductivity, the natural fiber has high resistance and dielectric properties. It is not only resistant to fire and harsh environments but also to corrosive changes.
Furthermore, the basalt fiber has a low carbon footprint, and can be recycled.

Basalt fiber is often used in the construction sector, for example in the reinforcement of concrete and geopolymers.
Other applications can be found in automotive, aerospace, offshore structures, sports equipment, shipping and defense.
